Defense of complex medical malpractice litigation, including the defense of hospitals, medical groups, clinics, home health agencies, physicians and other health care providers in all areas of the medical field, including elder abuse, intentional torts, negligence, class actions, fraud, birth injury and other related allegations

Government Tort Litigation experience from continued representation of hospital districts

Has successfully defended Residential Care Facilities for the Elderly (R.C.F.E.), Skilled Nursing Facilities, Assisted Living Facilities, Transitional Care Units, Home Health Agencies, and Physicians in complex intentional tort litigation, including elder and dependent adult abuse

Has a reputation for obtaining early resolution of her cases via voluntary dismissals and successful motions for summary judgment.

Recently, successfully co-chaired a trial and was responsible for all pre-trial motions, voir dire of the jury and cross-examination of several witnesses. Past experience includes second chairing a six week long trial involving medical negligence, elder abuse and fraud, all the way through to jury verdict
